The present administration of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) intends to adopt, as a major policy thrust, the instrument of Public – Private Partnership Initiative and explore its opportunities towards the delivery of social goods and services to the people of Lagos State. This intention is brought about by the global acceptability of the initiative to development and the fact that Government alone cannot bring about development in any society.                                          ACTION PLAN The Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Finance recognizes the potentials inherent in the Public – Private Partnership Initiative as a veritable tool that could be adopted for the rapid development of the State. It also appreciates the contribution of the private sector including Non- Governmental and Community Based Organizations amongst others to the development of their society. PILOT/CRITICAL AREAS OF ATTENTION The Ministry of Finance has presently identified some key areas to serve as pilot scheme of attention where the Initiative would be adopted in the State.
