A graduate of chemical Engineering from the University of Ife ( now Obafemi Awolowo University), he started his career as a Swimming pool Engineer at the National Sports Commission in 1977 before moving on to Nichemtex Industries Ltd, Ikorodu, as a Process Control Engineer from 1978 to 1983. A charismatic grassroots politician, he served with distinction as Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government from January 1990 to June 1993 and recorded land mark achievements in education, health, sports, youth development and employment generation. He is the Chairman/CEO of xcelsoft Technologies Limited.
